說明：The inclusion of dextran
sulfate at a final concentration of 10% has been shown to accelerate the hybridization
of labeled probes with membrane-immobilized DNA. Used for the detection of
DNA or RNA in nucleic acid hybridization procedures. It is recommended that
solutions of Dextran Sulphate sodium salt are sterilized by sterile
filtration. However, if necessary the solution (pH 6–7.5) may be heated to
70–80 °Cfor a short time
without affecting the dextran sulphate sodium salt. Stronger heating for
prolonged periods will lead to some hydrolysis of the sulfate groups.
